Handy tips:

The right lighting creates scrim magic
Scrim will turn opaque when lit at a sharp angle in front of a scene that’s kept dark. As the area behind the scrim gets lighter, the scene will “bleed through” and appear. When light is taken off the scrim, it will become virtually invisible.

To create an even stronger effect hang a blackout curtain behind the scrim. Use this trick to make the performers on stage disappear and reappear.

For a total effect finish off the look with borders and legs on the top and sides.

Show off a starry night sky
Combine with ShowLED starcloth systems to portray a magical night sky or for midnight blue background lighting.

The best way to straighten scrims?
Like canvasses, scrims are hung flat without pleats and weighted on the bottom with a Fastco pipe.
